Dion Phaneuf levels his own teammate James Van Riesmdyk who briefly left the game and later returned. I have to wonder if Phaneuf would be subject to discipline from Brendan Shanahan if he was able to connect with his intended target in Patrick Marleau.

Barry Bonds is now Skinny!
The San Francisco Giants legend showed up at Spring Training today sporting a much different look than when we last saw him during his playing days.
Bonds’ listed weight fluctuated from 185 in his rookie season with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1986 to 228 in his final season with San Francisco in 2007.
The much slimmer Bonds is in camp to be a special instructor for the Giants.
Chris Kattan visits MTS Centre
SNL alumni Chris Kattan is in Winnipeg this weekend performing at Rumors Comedy Club. He joined the list of comedians (Rob Schneider, Tom Green) who attended a Jets game while in Winnipeg performing at Rumors.

Kattan was caught on the jumbotron mid game enjoying a quite large slice of pizza. Once he realized he was caught, he began to eat it like his character Mr. Peepers.
